On September 9, Lancasteronline.com ran a story that calls attention to the challenges election officials would face if a feature in the Pennsylvania Republicans’ proposed “Voting Rights Protection Act” a signature verification requirement, became law.
To illustrate the point that signature verification for voters seems like a good idea, until it has to be implemented, Lancasteronline.com presented signature samples of Senate Majority Leader, Jake Corman and House Speaker, Jake Cutler.
Both sets of signatures revealed significant differences over a period of time that wasn’t particularly long.
