Numerous news sources and quasi news sources have reported that President Elect Joe Biden’s niece, Caroline Biden, 33,  in accordance with a deal that she made with the Montgomery County D.A., was sentenced on December 3 to serve 20 days of rehab, followed by five months of probation.

In August of 2019, Biden was charged with DUI by Lower Merion Police after she crashed her car into a tree. According to the New York Post, Arresting officer Jeffrey Seamans noted Biden, who was driving without a license, “had difficulty focusing on the conversation” as he questioned her.

Caroline Biden’s father is  Joe Biden’s brother James Biden.

    Penalties for DUI cases
The penalties and fines that you might be assessed will depend on the facts and circumstances of what happened in your case. Your BAC at the time that you were arrested may impact the penalty range. Pennsylvania assesses penalties and fines for DUI cases into three tiers. The first tier includes DUI cases in which your BAC ranges from 0.08% to 0.099% or when it cannot be determined. Typically, the penalty for a first-tier DUI offense will include having a misdemeanor conviction on your record, a fine, and the possibility of probation.

These Garments Have Been Politically Maligned

Most non-Arabs who wear the keffiyeh do not intend it to be Anti-Semitic in any way. They wear it as an expression of sympathy for Palestinian civilians, support for human rights, concern about war, or identification with a broader cause of national identity and self-determination. In their minds, it is directed toward Palestinians, not against […]

No one in history is more closely associated with […]
